1 c sugar

1 c brown sugar

2 L eggs

1 t vanilla

2 c flour

2 1/2 c oatmeal (ground in blender until resembles flour. Will make 2 c)

1/2 t salt

1 t baking soda

1 t baking powder

12 oz chocolate chip

4 oz hershey's choclate candy bar, grated

1 1/2 c chopped pecan

  1. Prepare oatmeal flour in blender.
  2. Cream butter and sugars.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla to creamed butter/sugar mixture.
  4. In separate bowl, mix flour, salt, oat flour, baking soda and baking powder.
  5. Add to creamed butter mixture and mix well.
  6. Add chips, grated chocolate and nuts.
  7. Make 1 1/2 inch balls and space them 2 inches apart on baking sheet.
  8. Bake at 375° for 6 minutes. Check them.
  9. If just starting to crisp and brown, remove them. If not, check every minute or two.
  10. Let rest a couple of minutes and remove to a rack to cool.

The recipe calls for grinded oats so i grind them using my FP. The batter was not as stiff.

Reduce brown sugar from 1 cup to 3/4 cup, turned out not as sweet. But ok.

Scooped the dough using my small ice cream scooper, then freeze for 5 hours.

Bake for 13-15min. 13 min just right, 15 min a bit brown. They were still soft out of the oven but hardens as they cool

Didnt' flaten. 2"diameter cookie. Made 60 cookies.

Chewy
