Toffee Topped Fudgy Brownies

YIELDS: 24 bars (8x12) pan


COMMENT: In between chewy and cakey. Better if it was chilled (silky,cool texture). Greased the liners so i didnt' have a hard time removing from pan.


RECIPE:

1 1/4 cups butter or margarine (1c)
2 cups sugar (1 3/4c)
2 teaspoons vanilla flavoring
4 eggs
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cup hershey cocoa
1 cup heath bit o'brickle almond toffee pieces (omit)
3/4 cup hersey mini chocolate chips (sprinkled cashew on top instead)

1. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Grease 13x9x2 baking dish.
3. Melt butter in saucepan over low heat.
4. Remove from heat; stir in sugar and vanilla.
5. Set aside.
6. Measure and sift dry ingredients in large bowl.
7. Beat eggs and add to butter mixture.
8. Pour over into dry ingredients and mix just until blended.
9. Pour into prepared pan.
10. Sprinkle top with Bit O'Brickle and Mini Chocolate Chips.
11. Bake 35 minutes.
